Leslie Wexner-Epstein Financial Relationship Documentation

Documentation of the extensive financial relationship between L Brands founder Leslie Wexner and Jeffrey Epstein.

Document Content

Leslie Wexner granted Jeffrey Epstein sweeping power of attorney in 1991, giving Epstein control over Wexner's financial affairs. Epstein managed Wexner's money, signed Wexner's tax returns, borrowed money on Wexner's behalf, and had authority over all of his financial accounts. Wexner transferred his Manhattan townhouse at 9 East 71st Street to Epstein in 1998 for $0. Epstein also used his connection to Wexner and Victoria's Secret to pose as a talent scout, which was used as a method to recruit young women. In 2019, Wexner claimed Epstein had "misappropriated vast sums of money" from him and severed ties. The total value transferred from Wexner to Epstein is estimated at over $250 million.
